With a playoff win on the line, IC Catholic Prep rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They blew past the Timothy Christian Trojans 71-50. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 contests by 20 points or more this season.

When it comes to explaining why Timothy Christian lost, don't look at Marc Gamble. Despite the final result, he shot 50% from the field en route to 20 points. The match was Gamble's fourth in a row with at least 16 points. Dylan Drye was another key player, putting up 12 points and four steals.

IC Catholic Prep has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.4 points over those games. This is the second loss in a row for Timothy Christian and nudges their season record down to 9-21.

IC Catholic Prep didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 64-43 loss against Montini Catholic on the 28th. Timothy Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
