The Osceola Grace E Eagles had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.2 points), and they went ahead and made it seven on Saturday. They took down Calumet Christian 32-16. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Osceola Grace E also won the last time the pair played back in September.
Gavin Stamper was on fire: he rushed for 189 yards and four touchdowns.
Although Calumet Christian took the loss, they still got scores from Isaiah Kish and Nathan Martinez.
Osceola Grace E's win was their seventh straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 8-2. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 1-9 Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian and 2-8 Illinois C (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 31.4% over those games). As for Calumet Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.
Osceola Grace E will play host again and welcome Columbus Crusaders, where Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Columbus Crusaders is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games. As for Calumet Christian, they will face off against Cincinnati Landmark at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Cincinnati Landmark will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 632nd in Ohio, while Calumet Christian is ranked 299th in Indiana).
