Baseball Recap: Perry Extends Winning Streak to Three

Perry waltzed into their game on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 9-3 margin over the Pandora-Gilboa Rockets. The result was nothing new for the Commodores, who have now won seven matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Conner Patrick was a standout: he got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. That double marked the first that he has hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Hunter Scott, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Perry's record is now 13-4. As for Pandora-Gilboa, they dropped their record down to 1-20 with the loss, which was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Perry will be playing at home against Lima Central Catholic at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Pandora-Gilboa, they will head out to take on Fairview at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
