The Cincinnati Christian Cougars waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They secured a 57-52 W over Clark Montessori. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Cincinnati Christian also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.
Leading Cincinnati Christian to victory were Kaylin Davis and Addyson Raby. Davis almost dropped a double-double on 24 points and nine rebounds, while Raby scored 15 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Davis has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Savannah Johnson, who scored nine points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Cincinnati Christian's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-4. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points per game. As for Clark Montessori, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-10.
Cincinnati Christian will head out on the road to square off against the Fighting Owls at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Clark Montessori, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Titans at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
