5. Grayson (Loganville, Ga.)The Rams, whose coach Mickey Conn announced Thursday he had accepted a job at Clemson, boast six seniors ranked in the
247Sports Composite top 1,000 national recruit list, led by uncommitted cornerback
Deangelo Gibbs, the No. 10 recruit overall. One who has committed is Clemson-bound quarterback
Chase Brice (243).
4. Cedar Hill (Texas)The Longhorns, coached by Joey McGuire, have six of the top 539 seniors, including three wide receivers. That's good news for quarterback
Avery Davis (No. 213 overall). It's even better for a recruiter, because none of the half-dozen have committed.
3. Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas)The Gaels, coached by Kenny Sanchez, have four seniors ranked among the top 166 and six among the top 735, headed by Texas A&M-bound quarterback
Tate Martell. Others who have committed are defensive tackle
Haskell Garrett, No. 74 to Ohio State, and USC-bound safety
Bubba Bolden (No. 161 overall).
2. St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.)The Raiders, coached by Roger Harriott, boast a whopping 11 players among the top 1,000 seniors, led by wide receiver
Trevon Grimes (No. 11). Only quarterback
Jake Allen (No. 219, Florida) and running back
Jordan Merrell (No. 952, Cincinnati) have committed.

1. IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.)Any other year, Aquinas would be the overwhelming national leader in top recruits. Even the Raiders pale in comparison to IMG, which sports 18 in the top 1,000, including — get this — six in the top 100 and 11 in the top 200. What? Huh?
The Ascenders, coached by Kevin Wright, are led by the nation's No. 2 recruit,
Dylan Moses, a 6-foot-2, 220-pound linebacker with 35 offers. Of IMG's top 18, five are linebackers. How would you like to be an FBS-scholarship player and third on your high school team's depth chart?
Baylor has already secured the passing combination of quarterback
Kellen Mond (No. 118) to
Jhamon Ausbon (No. 64). Ohio State has gained commitments from safety
Isaiah Pryor (No. 38) and cornerback
Marcus Williamson (No. 95).
IMG, which lands players from throughout the country, made
national news last month when the University of Tennessee made scholarship offers to 20 different Ascenders in a single day. That's a lot of green in scholarship money.

IMG Academy center Cesar Ruiz is ranked the No. 162 player in the country among 2017 football recruits, by 247Sports. Ruiz is one of 18 IMG players ranked among the nation's top 1,000.
