Delaware Valley Friends suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Wednesday. They were the victim of a rough 57-33 loss at the hands of Mercy Career & Technical. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Delaware Valley Friends has scored all season.
The losing side was boosted by Alec George, who scored 12 points along with four steals and three blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Brandon Thomas, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, Pine Forge Academy was fully in charge last Thursday, breezing past Kimberton Waldorf 80-13 on the road. With Pine Forge Academy ahead 55-4 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Delaware Valley Friends' defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-3. As for Pine Forge Academy, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-0.
