The Forrest Rockets's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight defeat. They were beaten by Community 94-60. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Forrest's loss came despite strong showings from Brayson Mccown and Tristan Goad. Mccown scored 18 points, while Goad scored 21 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Goad has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jimmy Bond, who scored eight points along with three steals.
Forrest's loss was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Community, their win bumped their record up to 4-11.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Cannon County the next time they take the court. Community will head out to face Cannon County at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, while Forrest will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
