The Trinity Christian Academy Eagles won the last time they faced the Taylor Wildcats, and things went their way on Thursday too. Trinity Christian Academy walked away with a 63-54 win over Taylor. The win made it back-to-back wins for Trinity Christian Academy.
Taylor's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zachery McKinnon, who scored nine points. McKinnon continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew North, who scored six points along with two steals.
Trinity Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Taylor, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trinity Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Warner Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 19th. Hopefully Warner Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up eight last Monday. As for Taylor, they will head out on the road to face off against Tavares at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
