After flying high against Community of Peace Academy last Wednesday, Roosevelt came back down to earth. The Roosevelt Teddies fell 81-73 to the Minneapolis South Tigers on Wednesday. Several Teddies players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Calvin Peterson, who posted 25 points along with eight rebounds and five steals. Peterson's evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points.
