Wickenburg's game  last Friday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Monday. They put the hurt on the Odyssey Institute Minotaur with a sharp  14-2 win. The Wranglers haven't had any issues with the Minotaur recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive  victory against them.
 Maleigh Colvin was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out eight over four innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave  her a new career-low in  earned runs (zero). She was also big at the plate,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with one  RBI. That's the most  hits  she has posted since back in March of 2024.
 In other batting news,  Tylee Buchert was a standout: she scored three  runs while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.  Brynlee Meister was another key player,  scoring two  runs and  stealing  Two bases. while going 1-for-3.

Wickenburg's first  win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Odyssey Institute, they now  have a losing record of 2-3.
 Coming up, Wickenburg will face off against Miami at 3:45  p.m.  on March 11th. As for Odyssey Institute, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next  contest,  a  25-4  loss against Highland Prep on the 4th.
