Mission Vista were the 77-70 winner over the Fallbrook Warriors when they last played one another back in November, but their luck changed this time around. Mission Vista fell just short of Fallbrook by a score of 48-45. Mission Vista has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Among those leading the charge was Malaki Brotherton, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. Samuel Carmona was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with 8 rebounds.
Mission Vista's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Fallbrook, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-4.
Mission Vista will head out on the road to face off against Valley Center at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Fallbrook, they will be playing at home against Crawford at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Crawford focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Friday.
