After two weeks on the road, Oneida is heading back home. On Friday they will take on Bledsoe County at 8:00 PM. Oneida are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the contest prepared for a fight.
There's no need to mince words: Oneida lost to Meigs County last Friday, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 0-35. Oneida were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-28.
Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Bledsoe County ultimately got the result it was hoping for. They skirted past Polk County 3-0. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Bledsoe County as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Bledsoe County's win lifted them to 2-6 while Oneida's loss dropped them down to 5-3. Neither squad could put together much of an offensive attack, so expect every point to count.
