Twin Lakes came into Friday's game looking for another win against Hamilton Heights, but Gavin Saunders wouldn't allow it. The Hamilton Heights Huskies breezed past the Twin Lakes Indians to the tune of 73-41 on Friday thanks to Saunders, who went 8-for-13 from beyond the arc en route to 24 points and five rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 43% in the last ten games he's played.

Another player making a difference was Tyler Champion, who went 5-for-9 to rack up 10 points in addition to eight assists and four steals. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Several Indians players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Bryce Wilhite, who posted ten points. What's more, Wilhite also posted a 67% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in December of 2024. Leo Dellinger was another key player, putting up six points along with eight assists and three steals.

The victory made it two in a row for Hamilton Heights and bumps their season record up to 13-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.5 points over those games. As for Twin Lakes, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 12-9.

Coming up, Hamilton Heights will take on Rushville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hamilton Heights is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 62 points per game this season. As for Twin Lakes, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 51-41 win against Delphi Community on the 22nd.
