If The Beggs Demons were riding high off their 54-22 takedown of the Okmulgee Bulldogs last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Beggs was dealt a 68-6 defeat at the hands of Kiefer on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty 54 points in the game before, Beggs couldn't push the score so high this time.
Kiefer was led to victory by Jentry Pendergraft and Jaxon Worley. Pendergraft gained 100 total yards and four touchdowns, while Worley threw for 177 yards and three touchdowns on only ten passes. Kiefer also got a significant boost from Bradley Breland, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 83 yards.
Beggs' defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Kiefer, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Beggs will take on Morris at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th. Morris is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak. As for Kiefer, they will look to defend their home field on October 27th against Westville at 7:00 p.m. Westville will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings (they are ranked 199th, while Kiefer is ranked 27th).
