After flying high against Hobson/Moore last Tuesday, the Dutton-Brady DiamondBacks came back down to earth. Dutton-Brady took a 36-27 hit to the loss column at the hands of Choteau on Thursday.
Among those leading the charge was Ava Gunderson, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and six steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Zoey Tobar, who scored six points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Dutton-Brady's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Choteau, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-8.
Dutton-Brady will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Choteau at 6:00 p.m. on February 8th. As for Choteau, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against North Toole County at 6:00 p.m.
