Tanner Strudthoff ran for two touchdowns and
Dalton Kriegel added two as well as
H-L-V (Victor, Iowa) beat Grandview Park Baptist (Des Moines, Iowa) 60-0 on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a punt return touchdown by
Wade Vanotegham in the first quarter, the Warriors led 46-0 at the half.
H-L-V expanded its lead to 60 points entering the fourth quarter. HLV scored three times in the third, including once on a touchdown run by Kriegel.
The Victor school put up 34 points in the first quarter en route to the win. The Warriors scored on a punt return touchdown by Vanotegham, a Strudthoff touchdown run, a touchdown run by
Nate Vanburen, a touchdown pass by
Dakota Stults to
Rhett Nowotny and a Kriegel touchdown run in the quarter.
H-L-V entered the contest giving up 22.2 points per game this year.
