London had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Raymondville Bearkats 11-1 on Thursday. Considering the Pirates have won 21 matches by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

London has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 17 of their last 18 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 31-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.9 runs over those games. As for Raymondville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 18-14.

Looking ahead, London will take on Goliad on the 17th. The Tigers will roll in looking for their 16th straight win, something the Pirates surely won't give up without a fight. Raymondville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
