The Show Low Cougars entered their tilt with the St. Johns Redskins with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Show Low claimed a resounding 68-33 victory over St. Johns on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Show Low has managed all season.
Preston Power was his usual excellent self, scoring 26 points. The matchup was his third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nash Brewer , who scored 13 points.
Show Low's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for St. Johns, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.
Show Low will head out on the road to face off against Chinle at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Chinle knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past six matchups -- so hopefully Show Low likes a good challenge. St. Johns will be home for the holidays to greet Greyhills Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Greyhills Academy is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
