Broomfield dropped down to 6-10 on Tuesday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They came up short against the Horizon Hawks, falling 3-0. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Kendra Runyon paced Broomfield's offense, picking up eight kills. Runyon got some help from Brooklyn Kessler and her ten assists. Runyon also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Adelaide Griest, each putting up two.

As for Horizon, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-6. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Horizon can attribute much of their success to Sarah Vaness, who had ten digs and two assists.

Broomfield wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Holy Family on the 9th. As for Horizon, they have also already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Centaurus on the 9th.
