Baptist Prep put another one in the bag  on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victor by  a  17-4 margin over the Glen Rose Beavers. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won five matches by 13  runs or more  so far this season.
 Marshall Eoff made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  pitched three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. Eoff was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs while  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Carson Wake was a standout: he scored three  runs while going 3-for-4. Those  three  hits gave  him a new career-high.  Nick Boyette was another key player,  going 2-for-4 with four  RBI, one  run,  and one  double.
 Baptist Prep  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .515. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Glen Rose only posted  an  OBP of  .304.
Baptist Prep pushed their record up to 8-0 with the  victory, which was their fourth straight  at home dating back to last season. As for Glen Rose, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Baptist Prep will face off against Star City at 1:00  p.m.  on Saturday. As for Glen Rose, they will square off against Woodlawn at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday.
