After flying high against the East Moline Christian Eagles  two weeks ago, the Quad Cities Christian Eagles came back down to earth. Quad Cities Christian's  rough  49-25 loss to Non Varsity Opponent  on Tuesday might stick with them for a while. Quad Cities Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  31-11.
 When it comes to explaining why Quad Cities Christian lost, one person who can't be blamed is  Piper Ochkie. Despite the final result, she  dropped  a double-double on 12 points and ten  rebounds. Ochkie has been hot recently, having posted two or more  steals the last four times she's  played.
 Quad Cities Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 13-4. As for Non Varsity Opponent, their victory bumped their record up to 64-112.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Quad Cities Christian will take on Morning Star Academy at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. Non Varsity Opponent won't have much time to rest: their next  match is against Minto at 4:00  p.m.  on January 3rd.
