The St. Brendan Sabres will face off against the Mater Lakes Academy Bears at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (St. Brendan 3, Mater Lakes Academy 4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
St. Brendan took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They came out on top against Palmetto by a score of 4-1.
Jan Perez Fernandez spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on one hit. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because St. Brendan is 5-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 6-8 otherwise.

At the plate, Mater Lakes Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was BRADY KENHAN, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.
Mater Lakes Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9-4. As for St. Brendan, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-9.
