Eastern is a perfect 10-0 against Taylor since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Comets will square off against the Titans at 6:00 p.m. Eastern is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.2 runs per game this season.

Meanwhile, Taylor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 13-6 to Tri-Central.

Taylor saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Antonio Aiello, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That run marked the first that Aiello has scored this season.

Taylor's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Eastern, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-5.

Taylor's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Eastern hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .362. It's a different story for Taylor, though, as they've only averaged .149. Will they be able to contain Eastern's hitters?

Everything went Eastern's way against Taylor in their previous matchup back in April, as Eastern made off with a 10-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Comets since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
