For the second straight game, York will face off against South Pointe. The Cougars will look to defend their home field on Thursday against the Stallions at 5:00 p.m. York is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.2 runs per game this season.

Last Tuesday, York didn't have quite enough to beat South Pointe and fell 4-3. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

For South Pointe's part, York's batters probably weren't too happy with Colton Willis, who pitched a no hitter and racked up six Ks (he gave up five walks).

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Kristian Edwards, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaden McClure, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.

The victory was the third in a row for South Pointe, bringing their record up to 5-9. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for York, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-7.
