Union Academy put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 62-14 victory over the Piedmont Panthers. The Cardinals have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

Union Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Paisley Boatright, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 15 rebounds. Boatright is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Ranon Suttle, who posted 16 points and five steals.

Union Academy's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-0. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 13.5 points per game. As for Piedmont, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

Union Academy will take on Montgomery Central in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Union Academy's defense has only allowed 18.3 points per game this season, so Montgomery Central's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Piedmont, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Piedmont Panthers face off against the Anson Bearcats at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
