Lincoln had a rough outing against Rogers last week, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Lincoln blew past Coventry 48-14 on Friday. Since the Lions won the last time these teams met, too, this is only more fuel for the fire driving Coventry's future revenge.
The win improved Lincoln's record to 5-3. Coventry is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
The Lions will stay at home in four weeks against Central Falls at 6 p.m. ET. Lincoln is at home for the matchup, a silver lining they hope will compensate for their disadvantage in the MaxPreps. Coventry will have some time to rest before their next game, which is against West Warwick at 10 a.m. ET. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
