Cane Bay's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kimora Carmichael led the charge by scoring 17 points along with nine rebounds and five assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Carmichael has scored all season. Anai Custodio was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.
Cane Bay's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-13. As for Stratford, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-15.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cane Bay will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Berkeley at 7:00 p.m. on January 19th. Berkeley will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. As for Stratford, they will head out on the road to square off against Goose Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
