Avoca-Prattsburgh had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They were the clear victors by a 23-0 margin over the Hammondsport Lakers on Thursday. Considering the Titans have won 12 matchups by more than seven runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Meyah Putnam was incredible, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooke Vanskiever, who went 2-for-5 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Avoca-Prattsburgh's win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Hammondsport, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 14 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-18 record this season.

Avoca-Prattsburgh wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 7-1 win against Arkport Central/Canaseraga on the 24th. As for Hammondsport, they have also already played their next match, an 18-0 loss against Avoca Central on the 23rd.
