Colton Buckingham Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Friday, Coconino got the W thanks in part to Colton Buckingham playing the best football he has all season. Buckingham rushed for 66 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries, and also threw for 180 yards and two touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes.
Buckingham and Coconino are taking a road trip to square off against Prescott at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Badgers, probably because Buckingham had a solid game then too: he rushed for 35 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 145 yards and a touchdown on only 11 passes. Can he match (or beat) that performance?
