After three games on the road, Horizon is heading back home. They will take on the Desert Mountain Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Horizon will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Arizona Rankings (they are ranked 196th, while the Wolves are ranked fourth).
Last Tuesday, Horizon was beaten by the Falcons 65-35.
Craig Rodgers put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 16 points. Another player making a difference was Avi Caplan, who scored four points along with two blocks.
Meanwhile, even though Cactus Shadows scored an imposing 62 points on Thursday, Desert Mountain still came out on top. Desert Mountain took their game against the Falcons 74-62. The win made it back-to-back wins for Desert Mountain.
Horizon has been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 14 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-18 record this season. As for Desert Mountain, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season.
