Bishop Kenny and Raines squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Bishop Kenny had to settle for second. They were beaten by the Vikings 61-15. The Crusaders' loss signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

Bishop Kenny's loss came despite strong showings from James Davis III and Gavin Hawkins. Davis III gained 85 total yards and a touchdown, while Hawkins threw for 87 yards and one TD.

Raines' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Timothy Cole, who threw for 262 yards and four touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also rushed for 44 yards. Another player making a difference was Tadarius Washington, who rushed for 114 yards and three scores on only 12 carries.

Bishop Kenny's defeat dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Raines, the win keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.

Bishop Kenny does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Raines, they will challenge Booker at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Vikings 5.1, the Tornadoes 9.2) so any points scored will be well earned.
