Providence School has gone a perfect 5-0 against University Christian recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. Providence School had just enough and edged out Bolles 8-7 on Tuesday. The win was familiar territory for the Stallions, who have now won four contests in a row.

Ryan Walls looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out ten over four innings pitched. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in strikeouts.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Brody Kraft, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Landis Pickett also deserves some recognition as he hit his first doubles of the season.
Meanwhile, University Christian had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They put the hurt on the Broncos with a sharp 10-2 victory. The Christians might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by seven runs or more this season.
Noah Moffat looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Bryson Harnage was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 4-for-5. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason McLeod, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-2.
University Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .513. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive matchups.
Providence School's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for University Christian, their record is now 6-3.
Everything went Providence School's way against University Christian in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, as Providence School made off with an 8-2 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Providence School since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
