Shady Spring is on a five-game streak of home losses, Liberty a four-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. The Shady Spring Tigers will take on the Liberty Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Last Tuesday, Shady Spring took a serious blow against PikeView, falling 51-18. While losing is never fun, Shady Spring can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' West Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 107th, while PikeView is ranked 29th).

Shady Spring's defeat dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Liberty, their loss dropped their record down to 1-13.
Everything came up roses for Shady Spring against Liberty in their previous matchup back in February of 2023 as the team secured a 82-25 victory. Will Shady Spring repeat their success, or does Liberty have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
