The Ridgeview Panthers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their 11th straight loss. They were beaten by Beachside 76-42. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Ridgeview has suffered since January 5th.
Ridgeview's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of JJ Moore, who scored ten points, and Gavin Stechschulte who scored 11 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Stechschulte has scored all season.
Ridgeview's defeat was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-20. As for Beachside, their victory bumped their record up to 10-11.
Ridgeview's road trip will continue as they head out to face Yulee at 7:30 p.m. on January 29th. Hopefully Yulee focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Friday. As for Beachside, Beachside and Eagle's View will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 29th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Eagle's View knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 16 matchups -- so hopefully Beachside likes a good challenge.
