It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Rouse had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They blew past the Carroll Tigers 12-6. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won 11 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Madilynn George was incredible, firing off two home runs, five RBI, and three runs while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more RBI the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Delaney Vannoy, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three RBI, one triple, and one run.

Rouse always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .561. The last time their OBP was this high was back in March.

The win was the eighth in a row for Rouse, bringing their record up to 21-9-2. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Carroll, they moved to 28-5 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Rouse beat the Tigers by a score of 3-0 on Friday.
