TEACH and Greenbrier Christian Academy are an even 4-4 against one another since February of 2018, but not for long. TEACH's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Greenbrier Christian Academy Gators at 6:00 p.m. on December 8th.
Last Monday, TEACH came up short against Summit Christian Academy and fell 60-52.
Meanwhile, after only 20 points in their last match, Greenbrier Christian Academy made sure to put some points up on the board against Tidewater Academy on Tuesday. Greenbrier Christian Academy blew past Tidewater Academy, posting a 71-25 win at home.
Greenbrier Christian Academy can attribute much of their success to Jonathan Ashe, who scored 24 points along with 5 assists, and Wyatt Hill, who scored 23 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Ashe has scored at least 25% of Greenbrier Christian Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Andy Knox, who scored 9 points along with 11 rebounds.
Their wins bumped TEACH to 2-1 and Summit Christian Academy to 3-6.
TEACH came up short against Greenbrier Christian Academy when the teams last played back in November of 2022, falling 50-40. Can TEACH avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
