The Prairie Heights Panthers lost against the Fremont Eagles two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Prairie Heights lost to Fremont at home by a decisive 51-35 margin. Prairie Heights has not had much luck with Fremont recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Several Panthers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Emily McCrea, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds. Sarah Park was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Prairie Heights bumped their record down to 7-13 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Fremont, their victory bumped their record up to 12-8.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Prairie Heights will take on Concord at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fremont, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Garrett at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
