The Valley Patriots entered their tilt with the Panhandle Panthers with 14 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 15. Valley took down Panhandle 45-28 on Friday.
It was another big night for Trinity Schlueter, who scored 22 points along with 6 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Valley's points. Reese Cruse was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals.
Valley's win bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Panhandle, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.
Valley's road trip will continue as they head out to face Klondike at 6:00 p.m. on December 12th. Panhandle will be home for the holidays to greet Lubbock Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Lubbock Christian will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 582nd, while Panhandle is ranked 63rd).
