If Oberlin wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Clearview, they should've done a better job of containing Kameron Williams. The Clippers took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 40-7 victory over the Phoenix thanks in part to Williams, who rushed for 90 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only ten carries. He also punched in two rushing touchdowns, which is notable because Clearview is undefeated when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 0-5 otherwise.

Clearview didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Christian Stevenson and Braden Turner.

Clearview has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 5.5 points on average over those games. As for Oberlin, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Coming up, Clearview will head out on the road to square off against Columbia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Raiders' defense has only allowed 7.6 points per game this season, so the Clippers' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Oberlin, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Black River at 7:30 p.m. on the 24th.
