Softball Recap: Central Noble Wins Going Away Against Westview

Central Noble got themselves on the board against Westview on Wednesday, but Westview never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 12-0 victory. Considering the Cougars have won six contests by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Kierra Bolen was excellent, going 1-for-3 with three runs and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Deter, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Central Noble kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in four consecutive matches.

Central Noble's record is now 6-3. As for Westview, they dropped their record down to 4-3 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central Noble will challenge Whitko at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Cougars surely won't give up without a fight. As for Westview, they will take on Lakewood Park Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
