Marysville is 10-0 against Lindhurst since January of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. Marysville posted their biggest victory since November 30, 2023 on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Wheatland 53-22 on the road. The win was just what Marysville needed coming off of a 78-44 defeat in their prior contest.
Josiah Arrington was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 13 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Anthony Walker, who scored 13 points along with three blocks and two steals.
Meanwhile, Lindhurst's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their ninth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 75-28 loss at the hands of Center. Lindhurst was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-18.
Marysville has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. As for Lindhurst, their defeat was their seventh straight at home, which bumped their record down to 1-17.
Everything came up roses for Marysville against Lindhurst in their previous meeting back in February of 2023 as the team secured a 106-34 win. With Marysville ahead 73-15 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
