Clear Creek's got stronger as the match went on, holding Brazoswood to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-18, 25-10.
Clear Creek's win came from a few key players Atascocita will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Elissa James, who had 17 digs and two aces. She has been hot for a while, having posted 12 or more digs the last 15 times she's played.
Clear Creek's win bumped their record up to 23-18. As for Atascocita, their victory bumped their record up to 25-7.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Monday's contest: Atascocita has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 6.8 aces per game. However, it's not like Clear Creek struggles in that department as they've been averaging 4.5 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
