Kane are taking a road trip to take on North Clarion at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Kane is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4 runs per game this season.
Kane barely beat Smethport the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wolves blew past the Hubbers 19-1 on Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Wolves needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Phinn Chamberlain was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 14 over 5.2 innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Kane is 6-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 4-5 otherwise. Chamberlain was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
In other batting news, Kane got a massive performance out of Kyle Zook, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with four runs and two stolen bases. That's the most stolen bases Zook has posted since back in May of 2024. Eric Novosel was another key player, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Kane always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .625. They are a perfect 7-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, North Clarion was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Brookville, falling 14-2. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
Ryan Pappas was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Zackary Carll also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.
North Clarion's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Kane, their record now sits at 10-6.
North Clarion's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Kane has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .462. It's a different story for North Clarion, though, as they've only averaged .245. Will they be able to contain Kane's hitters?
