The biggest upset of the week belonged to Kenton, who took down 54th ranked Kenton, 27-26. Doug Sanders threw for 113 yards and one touchdown and ran for 120 yards in the win.
Ottawa-Glandorf extended the longest winning streak in Western Buckeye this week by beating Elida, 14-13. The victory was the seventh in a row for the Titans.
The Wildcats' Grant Sherman and Justin Sawmiller have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Sherman has thrown for 2545 yards this season, while Sawmiller, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has 75 catches for 1179 yards. Sanders from Bath leads the league in rushing with 850 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Bulldogs take on the Wildcats. As it stands, Elida is in third, while Bath is in fourth.
Chris Miller's team moved up to 198 from 251 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Western Buckeye. The Wildcats were able to make the jump by beating Kenton 27-26.
