The Idea Academy Titans won the last time they faced IDEA Pharr, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Idea Academy came out on top against the by a score of 35-24. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Idea Academy.
Layla Perez was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 11 steals. Perez is crushing the steal category: she's posted at least five every time she's taken the court this season. Cloe Bernal was another key contributor, scoring six points along with six steals.
Idea Academy pushed their record up to 12-5 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. As for IDEA Pharr, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.
Idea Academy will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Griffins at 6:00 p.m. IDEA Pharr does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
