After a disappointing six points in their last contest, Waldron made sure to put some points up on the board against Subiaco Academy on Friday. Waldron were able to grind out a solid win over Subiaco Academy, winning 36-29. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Waldron as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week Waldron take on Mena at 7:00 PM. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Waldron and Mena will really light up the scoreboard. As for Subiaco Academy, they will face off against Dardanelle. Subiaco Academy's defense better steel itself: Dardanelle are averaging 35.71 points per game.
