Norton came tearing into Friday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Trego Golden Eagles by a score of 57-46. That's more bragging rights for the Bluejays, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Eli Jones was his usual excellent self, going 9 of 17 on his way to 25 points in addition to eight boards and five steals. Another player making a difference was Tyce Melvin, who posted 12 points and six steals.

Norton's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.7 points per game. As for Trego, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-4.

Coincidentally, Norton and Trego will both be playing Plainville the next time they take the court. Norton will head out to face Plainville at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Trego will host them at 7:05 p.m. on Friday.
