While Elverado won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 27-25.
Elverado can attribute much of their success to Jaylen Marshall, who had 11 digs.
Agape Christian's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-7. As for Elverado, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.
