Mulberry was the 8-2 winner over Kathleen when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Mulberry fell just short of Kathleen by a score of 2-1. It was the first time this season that Mulberry let down their fans at home.
Their goal came courtesy of
Saif Alrefaee, who's now up to two this season.
Mulberry bumped their record down to 12-5-1 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 4.2 goals per game. As for Kathleen, their win bumped their record up to 1-12-2.
Mulberry will be playing in front of their home fans against Chamberlain at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Kathleen does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
