The Golden Demons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 27 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Elizabeth 53-26 at home. The win was just what Golden needed coming off of a 63-21 loss in their prior contest.
Allie Neal was the offensive standout of the match as she scored 22 points. That's the first time this season that she scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooklynn Carbone, who scored four points along with six assists and six rebounds.
The victory got Golden back to even at 3-3. As for Elizabeth, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.
Golden will take on Alemany in a holiday battle at 12:00 p.m. on Monday at. Alemany has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 276 points over their last four matchups. Elizabeth's road trip will continue as they head out to face Holy Family at 4:30 p.m. on December 20th.
